This semester, The General Math Studies Lab will be offering five types of assistance to students enrolled in one of our classes. The following presents an overview:
**TENTATIVE HOURS** SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY CONSTRAINTS
Testing
Make-up Quizzes and tests will be administered in the Lab at the discretion and upon recommendation of each instructor. See your instructor's handout for his/her policy.
Geometry Workshops
These one-unit workshops are coordinated through the Lab, and are a required adjunct to our 90 classes. Geometry worksheets and homework assignments can be completed in the Lab with the assistance of a tutor. Please consult your Geometry Instructor for further information.
RP Workshops
All students attending RP or Learning Community sections of our classes meet their in-class tutor one hour each week in small group sessions to complete that week's mandatory lab assignment.
Special Workshops
Each semester, free workshops will be offered to help students prepare for important exams such as GMS final exams or the ELM. Bulletins announcing these offerings will be handed out in you algebra class.
Our Lab programs will begin the second week of classes. Please take full advantage of all these FREE services. We are here to help.
