Instructor Guides

The online version of the Department of Rhetoric and Writing Studies Instructors' Resource Guide is now an interactive Blackboard Site.To access the site:
  1. Go to San Diego State University's home page http://www.sdsu.edu
  2. From the menu bar at the top left corner, select Faculty/Staff
  3. From the Academic group on the right side of this page, select Blackboard Courses
  4. You should see Blackboard's login page.
  5. In the dialog boxes at the top right, enter your Red ID number and the password you use to access Web Portal and click on Login.
  6. If you don't have a Red ID number or password, contact the Department Staff or a member of the Lower Division Writing Committee to obtain a temporary username and password that will allow you guest access.
  7. Click on the DRWS Instructors' Resource Site link to access the site.
  8. If you used your own Red ID number and password and don't see a link to the site, contact someone on the Lower Division Writing Committee so that they can add you to the users list.
