Beth Sherman
Lecturer
Office: Storm Hall West 116 | Email: [email protected]
Beth Sherman has been teaching for the Department of Rhetoric and Writing Studies since the department was created. She was a graduate teaching associate during the department’s first year and shortly after receiving her MFA in Creative Writing, returned as a Lecturer and has been teaching here ever since. In addition to teaching, she helped establish the SDSU Writing Center. Although she has lived in San Diego a long time, she is still astonished by the views from Torrey Pines and her proximity to a fantastic zoo. She tells her students that if everyone studied Rhetoric, it would change the world.
