Adrian Vega received a B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine, and later an M.A. in English with an emphasis in American Literature from San Diego State University. As a teacher, he puts a strong emphasis on building an equitable learning community in the classroom by creating helpful methods of communication and fair teaching practices. With his students, Adrian likes to explore the uses of rhetoric in everyday life, news, articles, and literature. Assignments might include rhetorical analysis of different texts (fiction and nonfiction) and visual elements.
In his downtime, Adrian is an avid cyclist and strives to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
