Celia Sigmon graduated Phi Kappa Phi, earning an MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State University. She has taught as a lecturer in the Department of Rhetoric and Writing Studies for the last 23 years and has also managed and taught a poetry-training program for SDSU’s Master of Fine Arts graduate students.

While teaching for RWS, Celia has also been a Border Voices Poetry Project poet-teacher and been actively involved in all aspects of the program, from anthology editor and judge to Border Voices executive board member.
