Emma Lee Whitworth is an RWS lecturer and Coordinator of the RWS Writing Fellows Program.  Hailing from eastern Washington state, she received her B.A. in English from the University of Washington, studied Comparative Ethnic Studies at Washington State University, and then received her M.A. in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric from SDSU. As a grad student Emma Lee was both a Fellow and TA for RWS.  She wrote her thesis exploring the resistance in engaged pedagogy in higher education and continues to work to create an inclusive and student-centered environment on campus and online.
