I've been teaching for 25 years, at SDSU (RWS) for the last 16 years.  I'm a San Diego native, so this has been a great turn-of-events for me: I love this city and working at SDSU. As for any particular scholarly interests, I'm multi-disciplinary at heart, hence the spectacular fit here in RWS.  I love a good conversation, even if the discourse (argument) gets a little tense. Other than teaching, I love traveling (especially throughout my home state) and getting after it in some running shoes, a bike, or even with a backpack, venturing deep into the Sierra Nevada backcountry. I have a lovely wife, son and two exceptional dogs. See you around and wear your mask.
